The Knoxville Commuter Pool (KCP) is a regional commuter transportation service designed to encourage area commuters to carpool, vanpool, or ride public transportation to and from work. KCP's mission is to make commuters aware of mobility options. KCP services enable employers, employees, and the community to work together to achieve transportation related economic, environmental, and community goals.

If you ride a KCP vanpool to work you are eligible for the Emergency Ride Service (ERS). Now you never have to worry about being stranded without a ride if an unexpected emergency occurs. Program participants must register to become eligible and you are limited to three emergency rides per year. For more information about KCP please call (865) 974-RIDE (974-7433).
