Julia Weissman is a junior studying biology with a concentration in ecology and evolution, and a minor in business administration at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. At the Center for Transportation Research, she is working under Jerry Everett to bring STEM activities into the Knoxville area elementary and middle schools. Specifically she is focusing on researching drones and their usages within the transportation field, and also implementing teaching them in the classroom. In the future, she hopes to gain skills within STEM, and eventually get her DVM and work within the veterinary field.
