Transportation Engineer: Center for Transportation Research – UTK

This position involves leading and supporting transportation modeling and planning projects, with a focus on the 4-Step travel demand modeling process. The role includes overseeing the Tennessee Statewide Travel Demand Model, conducting quality assurance on model data and outputs, and reviewing regional MPO models. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ experience or master’s degree with 2-3 years of experience required in a Civil or Industrial Engineering field or similar that field which focuses on travel demand modeling as well as excellent knowledge of Transportation Modeling and Travel Demand Models and Forecasting. The role is based in Nashville with a hybrid schedule.
