Carol Hatmaker Retires after 23 Years of Being a Vital Part of CTR

Carol Hatmaker Retires after 23 Years of Being a Vital Part of CTR

June 26, 2024

In May of 2024, Carol Hatmaker officially retired from CTR. Carol has graciously agreed to work part-time during the next several months to aid new Business Manager Tammy Johnson with the transition. Those who have worked with Carol during her 23-year career with CTR have seen the contributions and sacrifices that Carol has made over the two-plus decades she has been a part of the leadership team, first as a Financial Specialist from 2001-2006 and later as the Business Manager from 2007 to 2024.

As the first Business Manager for the Center, Carol was tasked with staffing the CTR business office and establishing the operating principles for the Center’s business functions.

She was an expert in handling multiple tasks covering everything from proposals to closing accounts. On multiple occasions, she completed up to thirty proposals in a month.

Anyone working for or with Carol always knew she truly cared about them. She treated her co-workers like family and Carol gave so much to this Center. Her contributions were noticed and appreciated and she will be greatly missed.

We wish Carol the best in her retirement years. The corner office will not be the same without her personality, Disney vibes, and boxes of files filling it!
