Congratulations CTR Graduates!

Congratulations CTR Graduates!

June 26, 2024

Six CTR staff members completed their undergraduate and Ph.D. programs in the second quarter of 2024.

Sarah La Fetra, Joseph Dunbar, Sophia Jodoin, and Elizabeth Duty graduated this spring! All four will continue their work at CTR this summer before moving on.

Sarah hopes to get a permanent position in her field

Joe will attend Undergraduate Pilot Training for the Air Force

Sophia will pursue her Master’s of Geography at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville

Elizabeth will pursue her Master’s of Biomedical Engineering

Research Assistant Professor, Marcella Kaplan completed her Ph.D. at Virginia Tech University with a Civil Engineering degree, focusing on Transportation Information and Systems Engineering.

Director of Communications, Michelle McGuffin completed her Ph.D. in Education Leadership at the University of the Cumberlands. Michelle’s dissertation explored the relationship between the research goals of a university as they align with the tenure and promotion goals set for faculty.
