What Experts and Residents Think About Knoxville Tennessee’s Rising Population and Traffic

CTR Director Dr. Kevin Heaslip spoke to a reporter at WBIR Channel 10 News about the current and future rising population in Knoxville, Tennessee. While some residents are concerned about what this means for traffic, Dr. Heaslip remains optimistic as he states that “The influx of people to East Tennessee and Tennessee as a whole is not something that is catching us by suprise”. He also confirmed that the Knoxville Planning Organization has been planning for the growth that we have seen since the pandemic.
