Danielle Meyers

Coordinator I, CTR

Danielle Meyers has been with TN VANS at CTR since 2003. She started as a Research Assistant and now holds the title of Program Coordinator. Previously she worked at CTR as a field archaeologist after obtaining her degree in Anthropology from UTK in 1992. She has also worked at McClung Museum on the UTK campus. Her current responsibilities include analyzing non-profit applications, writing contracts, coordinating vehicle sales, and maintaining the TN VANS’ database. Danielle Meyers also manages the Visiting Scholar Program which involves working with UTK’s Global Engagement Department and foreign scholars, edits TDOT quarterly reports, and edits other documents upon request.

Danielle Meyers had the beneficial experience of interning at TVA in their Cultural Resource Management division. She has published a journal article with Dr. Ted Newsom examining the TN VANS program (Journal of Public Transportation, 2011, 14 [2]: 89-107). She also contributed to Archaeological reports with Historical Research and other data. Research and meeting the transportation needs of non-profits are her passion.

Innovative solutions for the future of mobility.
