Sam Dahl

Operations Administrator, THSO

Sam Dahl joined the Tennessee Highway Safety Office in 2026 after nearly 10 years managing business and finance operations for a Nashville real estate team. Mr. Dahl serves as Operations Administrator, where he manages fiscal operations, federal grant funding, and contracts processes for the office. His responsibilities include budget preparation, sub-grantee compliance oversight, reimbursement review, and administration of the online grants management system. He also serves as a member of the THSO management team and provides training and technical support to staff and sub-grantees.

Mr. Dahl has an undergraduate degree in Ethics from Union University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Southern Indiana. Outside of work, he enjoys camping at Tennessee State Parks with his family, shuttling kids to youth sports, and tackling DIY projects at home.
