Fill out this survey to help formulate the statewide long range transportation plan
At the Center for Transportation Research (CTR), our team studies Tennessee’s mobility network and helps shape its long-term future. Through our close partnership with the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), several of CTR’s long-range research specialists work directly alongside state planners to analyze trends, model future demands, and develop strategic infrastructure frameworks.
Right now, TDOT is actively updating its Statewide Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP), which will serve as the master blueprint guiding Tennessee’s transportation priorities, safety initiatives, and funding strategies all the way through 2055. Because our researchers are on the front lines of this milestone effort, we know firsthand how vital public perspective is to building an equitable and resilient network.
TDOT is launching a series of online and in-person engagement sessions statewide, and they need your input to ensure local communities are represented.
Whether you care about highway safety, transit access, freight movement, or rural connectivity, now is the time to make your voice heard. You can take the official public survey and view upcoming community events by visiting the project portal at publicinput.com/lrtp2026
Help our research team and TDOT steer the future of Tennessee transportation!
