TTAP Presents the Road Safety Champion Program

TTAP Presents the Road Safety Champion Program

June 20, 2024

TTAP is excited to announce that it will offer the Road Safety Champion Program (RSCP). Starting in July 2024, maintenance, construction, planning, and engineering professionals can embark on this journey from the comfort of their homes or offices. TTAP Director Matt Cate explains, “The Road Safety Champion Program will allow transportation professionals to do much more than simply meet minimal requirements for continuing education. RSCP will provide participants with a broad understanding of common roadway safety issues, tools that will help them recognize and prioritize safety concerns within their sphere of influence, and real-world best practices and countermeasures that can be applied to make safer roadways a reality. Our hope is the RSCP will raise safety awareness among a broader group of transportation professionals and provide recognition of their efforts to provide a safe travel experience for all road users within their communities.”
